Engagement
We assume social responsibility and bring about positive social change, thereby actively and sustainably promoting our values. By supporting both regional and nationwide organisations and initiatives, we contribute to the community and demonstrate our social responsibility. We focus on the development of children and adolescents as well as on rescue services and heritage conservation.
KMV Sachsen
For over 25 years, KMV Sachsen has been supporting people in overcoming their social, existential and personal problems. The employees take on the responsibility of ensuring the best possible development of the children and adolescents entrusted to them. With their outpatient and inpatient services, educational support, forms of accommodation for mothers, fathers and children and integration support, they help to ensure that children, adolescents and their families experience a sense of security, reliability and safety.
A minibus is to be purchased for the KMV Sachsen for the purpose of large holiday trips or to facilitate day trips. We are delighted that we have been able to make a contribution to the fulfilment of this wish and wish them wonderful experiences.
Stiftung Bürger für Leipzig
The Stiftung Bürger für Leipzig is a non-profit community foundation. The foundation brings together more than 200 Leipzig residents who are committed to life in their city and its sustainable development.
The foundation supports the improvement of educational opportunities for children from economically disadvantaged families with voluntary sponsorships in the project “Die Wunderfinder”. We have also contributed to this project.
The project “Bürgersingen im Johannapark” (community singing) stands for better co-operation between young and old. In addition to social issues, the foundation is also committed to environmental protection and the preservation of historical monuments. For example, it arranges sponsorships for park benches in Leipzig’s listed parks.
The foundation also advises and supports interested parties in setting up their own unincorporated foundation under the umbrella of the community foundation.
Die Seenotretter – Deutsche Gesellschaft
zur Rettung Schiffbrüchiger
The Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Rettung Schiffbrüchiger (German Maritime Search and Rescue Service; DGzRS) organises and implements one of the most professional and modern maritime search and rescue services in the world and saves lives of all people in distress at sea in the German areas of the North Sea and Baltic Sea on the basis of three guiding principles: Voluntary – Independent – Funded by donations!
The Seenotretter (sea rescuers) are ready for action around the clock, in all weathers. They are often out on the North Sea and Baltic Sea when other ships are seeking shelter in harbour – around 2,000 times a year. They work voluntarily and selflessly.
With our donation, we contribute to helping people in distress at sea and enabling the crews to return safely.
Deutsche Stiftung Denkmalschutz
The Deutsche Stiftung Denkmalschutz is the largest private initiative for the preservation of historical monuments in Germany. It works independently nationwide for the preservation of endangered architectural monuments of all kinds. It pursues a comprehensive approach, ranging from the emergency rescue of endangered monuments to numerous youth projects and the “Tag des offenen Denkmals®” [Open Monument Day].
The foundation supports around 600 projects every year, mainly thanks to the active help and donations of over 200,000 sponsors. In addition, there are numerous events and campaigns.
Monument preservation is also our thanks to the past, the joy of the present and our gift to the future.
